QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
Possess and maintain a valid Alabama State teaching certificate with a "P" for grade level.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Must meet any applicable No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Highly Qualified (HQ) requirements or Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements.
Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
This posting is for any Pre-K Teacher position that may become available from March 2024 through August 2024.
