The Noble County Historical Society is doing what it can to preserve history. On Tuesday, the Albion Town Council joined in the effort. The council unanimously approved a facade grant the society will use to help defray the costs of a new roof at the Old Jail Museum. The Albion Redevelopment Commission gave a favorable recommendation to the project, which will use TIF Funds. Facade grant rules allow up to $15,000 per year for a downtown business, but the limit on roof assistance was capped at $5,000 several years ago.Historical society member Bill Shultz said the total cost of the project is $38,000. #History #Musuem #NobleCounty #Albion #VisitNobleCounty
