spent 8 hours getting around resetting my brothers new router instead of actually resetting it and spent the last hour resetting it and making it work. All I needed was someone from comcast to just send a new wifi signal to my modem. that was it. then he gets mad.

@ComcastNewEng Please help. We set up a transfer of service after moving but neither internet or cable is working. Comcast sent a refresh but it doesn’t work and we can’t get a tech on the phone. It keeps saying they can’t talk until refresh is done. HELP. can someone call us?

Let me get this straight @Xfinity and @comcast. My 4 kids are forced to school from home, I’m forced to work from home, there is no socializing outside the home due to Covid so NOW you restrict our download amount. Or we pay MORE?? Never let a good crisis go to waste they say.

I dont know what's been going on with comcast supposedly its "our router that's been working perfectly fine for a whole year" that's having issues but no I dont believe it. Every time we fix it, it craps out. The online light is solid and the 5G and 2.4g are blinking like crazy

@comcastcares Their customer service agent promised me an $80 credit on my account and it never appeared. I said when you call Comcast, the message says we may record the call for training purposes. Just check my call log. How convenient they never logged my call

I’m well aware that some areas only offer one provider but that’s not the point. Many families have had to sign up for the most basic internet service to ensure their kids can learn remotely.

But they lied to me saying the moving process would be easy as I would have wifi in my new place on the day I moved in but its been almost 3 weeks now and they can't even give me a ballpark date of when it'll get done. @NTechlibre Same. I bridge the Comcast modem, use my own router. I do have connected thermostats though. They would have to get through my router to get to them. I'll never have Alexa or anything like it. Unless I'm selected for re-education.
